RSS (Rachel’s Simple Seasoning)

Today I’m going to share a super secret with y’all. It’s my super secret, tonguegasmic spice recipe.
This is the seasoning mix that I use for my tonguegasmic Southern Fried Chicken pot roast, campfire burgers and even veggies, shoot y’all, I use it for everything.

Rachel’s Simple Seasoning

* 1/4 C + 3  Tbsp Salt
* 1/4 C Garlic Powder
* 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
* 1 Tbsp Paprika
* 1/4 C coarsely ground Pepper
* 1 Tbsp White Pepper
* 3/4 tsp Cumin
* 1 tsp Cayenne
* optional dash of cinnamon (you really should add this)

I mix all of this together in a bowl and then pour it into an empty spice shaker and go to town.
I wish y’all could smell that picture. This mix is perfection, in my humble opinion.

I love it.

As a Bonus, here’s my second favorite spice mix. This is the go to for everything!!

Equal parts salt, garlic powder and pepper. voila!

Enjoy y’all.

So what Blissfully Domestic tips do you have to share?

Thank you to the FABULOUS Mr. Lady.  She knows why.

    Thanks for putting up the button, dollface. Loveses you. And, I’m tempted to make the rub – does it do well on steak? I don’t fry. Just won’t/can’t not ever again. Also, where do I send these gift certs?

      I went to a party last night and the hostess made pulled beef sandwiches.
      She used this rub and the flavor of the meat was wonderful…even before we added the barbecue sauce. I am making a big batch and sharing with my friends. This is 5-star recipe.

    I love to marinade chicken thighs in half white vingear and half soy sauce, pat ‘em dry, sprinkle with garlic salt and then grill.

    It sounds so simple but it’s really different and tasty!
