Thank You

I love words.

Written.

Spoken.

Sung.

I have always had an obsession with words.  I have been fascinated with them for as long as I can remember.

Our words are one of the most powerful things we have.  With our words we can lift someone up, we can shatter them, we can change everything with our words.

I’ve had my own life totally rocked with two words.

Two words that have stopped my breath and caused tears to leap to my eyes and my heart to stutter and leap and grow.

Two words from out of the blue.

Thank You is almost automatic.

We say it when someone gives us a drink, serves us a meal, gives us a present or tucks us in.

Those two words have more power than you’d believe.

Stop right now and think about the last time someone said Thank You to you out of the blue.

When was the last time that you Thanked someone for being in your life…  For sharing their laughter, for being your friend, for teaching your child…

Thank you is an automatic response, but it’s so much more than that.

The words  Thank You are two of the most powerful words in our language, they can change your day, your perspective… everything.

It took me more than 30 years to realize it, but thanking people for being in your life is one of the most powerful ways you can impact others, and yourself.

I’m teaching myself and my kids to tell people thank you for no real reason, no holiday, no birthday, just because…

Thank you for making me laugh, thank you for being my lunch friend, thank you for being the person I call when I’m grumpy, thank you for being my recipe taster, thank you for sharing your family with me…

try it

Thank You will change your life.
