The Mom, Rachel: A 32 year old deep fried southern belle and aspiring domestic darling. I love to read, cook and play with my kiddos. I am currently obsessed with cookbooks, cooking gadgets, photography and my Canon 50D. I am clumsily trying to figure out Photoshop Elements 8, & Lightroom and how they can help me to enhance, but not change my pictures. I’ve been married to my own dented armor wearing prince charming for 9 1/2 years and we’re attempting to raise two children with good morals, good manners, open hearts and bright futures.
The Dad, Nathan: 35 years old. A true blue Texas boy. My Prince Charming, Monkey’s favorite playmate and Princess’ measure to which every man will be held.
The Daughter, Princess: 7 going on 16. She is trying, loving, dramatic, sweet and dynamic. She arrived into this world with a ‘Here I Am, The Party May Begin Now’ attitude and hasn’t stopped since. She comes with a disclaimer: “All thoughts and comments expressed by this child are not necessarily those of the parents” She astonishes, astounds and amazes us daily. She is a blessing, a treasure and a test of her parent’s patience.
The Son, Monkey: Is lucky to have lived to the ripe old age of 2 3 4. He is a climber and an explorer. He is wild, wacky, exuberant, forceful, sweet, mischievous, adorable and precious. He is a little angel, complete with tarnished halo and cleverly hides his devilishness behind his devastatingly dimpled smile and twinkling eyes.
I blog about food, family, photography, relationships, parenting, recipes, cooking and everything else that is related to being a 30-ish mom in a 20′s obsessed world.
I am open to reviews, as long as honesty is admired.
