White Layer

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 7 C Marshmallows
  • 6 C Rice Krispies

Red Layer

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 6 C Marshmallows
  • 6 C Rice Krispies

Instructions

Blue Layer

  1. Melt 3 Tbsp butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. When the butter has melted add in the marshmallows and food coloring.
  3. Stir over low heat until the marshmallows have completely melted and you like the color you've achieved.
  4. Remove from heat, pour in the rice krispies and then layer in a 9X13 buttered dish (for thick layers - for thinner, easier to eat layers use a larger baking dish)
  5. Let cool.

White Layer

  1. Melt 3 Tbsp butter over medium heat
  2. When the butter has melted add in the marshmallows and stir until melted.
  3. Add the Rice Krispies and stir until fully combined.
  4. Let them cool in the pan just a bit before pouring them on top of the blue layer. Press down with a buttered hand until the layer is even.

Red Layer

  1. Melt 3 Tbsp of butter over medium heat
  2. Add in the marshmallows and food coloring and stir until desired color is achieved and the marshmallows are melted.
  3. Add in the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until combined.
  4. Let this cool a bit.
  5. Pour over the previous layers and pat down with a buttered hand until this layer is level.

Notes

These are easy to make and fun to eat. Cut into desired sizes and have fun! This isn't a recipe, so much as a "here's how we did it and suggestion type thing"
