1bottle McCormick Grill Mates® Smoky Montreal Steak Sauce
4slicessharp cheddar cheese
Combine 1 Tbsp of McCormick Grill Mates® Worcestershire Pub Seasoning with 2 lb hamburger meat and shape into patties. I prefer to use a burger press*
Melt the butter in a large skillet and add in onions. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until the onions are softened and caramelized. Add in the McCormick Grill Mates® Smoky Montreal Steak Sauce and heat over low until simmering.
While the onions are caramlizing, put the burgers on the grill and cook to your preferred doneness.
At the last couple of minutes of cooking, place slices of sharp cheddar cheese on the burgers, close the grill and allow the cheese to melt.
Let the burgers rest about 5 minutes before serving.
Place the burgers on the bottom bun and top with the caramelized onions and sauce and top with top bun
We like our hamburger buns toasted, so I'll throw them on the grill while the buns are toasting.
