The Mom, Rachel: A 31 year old deep fried southern belle and aspiring domestic darling. I love to read, cook and play with my kiddos. I am currently obsessed with cookbooks, cooking gadgets and everything that can attach to, help out or protect my Canon. I am clumsily trying to figure out photoshop & Picnik (alternately) and how they work with my Canon Rebel XTI and my Mac. I love to blog about life, food, laughter, love and being a child of God, who is constantly questioning, learning and studying just what that means. I’m married to my own dented armor wearing prince charming and attempting to raise two children with good morals, good manners and bright futures.
The Dad, Nathan: 33 years old. A true blue Texas boy. My Prince Charming, Monkey’s favorite playmate and Princess’ measure to which every man will be held.
The Daughter, Princess: 6 going on 16. She is trying, loving, dramatic, sweet and dynamic. She arrived into this world with a ‘Here I Am, The Party May Begin Now’ attitude and hasn’t stopped since. She comes with a disclaimer: “All thoughts and comments expressed by this child are not necessarily those of the parents” She astonishes, astounds and amazes us daily. She is a blessing, a treasure and a test of her parent’s patience.
The Son, Monkey: Is lucky to have lived to the ripe old age of 2 3. He is a climber, an explorer. He is wild, wacky, exuberant, forceful, sweet, mischievous, adorable and precious. He is an angel in tarnished halo and cleverly hides his devilishness behind his devastating smile and twinkling eyes.
I blog about life, family, photography, relationships, parenting, food, recipes, cooking and everything else that is related to being a 30-ish mom in a 20′s obsessed world.
I am open to reviews, as long as honesty is admired.
In addition to being the author of this blog, I am the Editor of the food channel for Blissfully Domestic online Magazine.
