In an interview with The Guardian, Nicolas Cage says they married so that Alice Kim could travel with him to South Africa. Initially, the marriage made it easy for Alice Kim to immigrate.
On October 3, 2005, Alice Kim gave birth to Nicolas Cage’s second son, Kal-El Cage. Impressively, the two stayed together for nearly 12 years!
