Raisa left Russia for Ukraine because of anti-Semitism, but that was way back in 1976. Meanwhile, Ryszard, the stepfather of Victoria, is a master artisan who frequently works on renovation projects.

She has work featured in House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, and InStyle. She also designed her and Michael’s apartment in an Old World chic style. She once said that the design was inspired by The White Lotus set, which her husband had a role in.

Director and Producer
Aside from interior design, Victoria also had brief roles as director and producer. She used to work at Studio Dante as a co-artistic director, designing all of the productions. The talented artist also had a brief job with the Kips Bay Show House, where she designed a room for them.
On top of that, she produced the Circledrawers and The Hungry Ghosts in 2009, and she also designed the set for the latter.
Side Hustle
Despite being pretty busy already, Victoria has a side hustle with her husband, Michael Imperioli. In December 2023, the wife and husband teamed up to open a restaurant in the Upper West Side of New York City.
The restaurant, named Scarlet, was created in collaboration with Jeremy Wladis. Victoria designed the entire place, giving it a French wartime vibe and trying to make it match the vibe of their previous lounge, Ciel Rouge.

Michael Imperioli is a popular American actor who most notably appeared in The Sopranos as Christopher Moltisanti. His role earned him a Primetime Emmy and lifelong recognition.
He, too, was born in 1966, making him the same age as his wife. His family was originally from Italy, but they immigrated to New York later on.
While originally planning to study pre-med, Imperioli decided at the last minute to convert his education to acting, and it turned out to be the correct decision after all.
Michael and Victoria met in some bar in the mid-90s—no one knows which bar it is or the full story of their encounter, though it was the start of a decades-long love story.
