Ten Years.
That sounds like a long time and yet, it’s a mere drop in the bucket.
Ten years ago today, we shared a Kiss, a kiss that in traditional Fairy tales signifies that the story has reached its End.
For us, that first kiss was just beginning.
Ten Years ago today, I walked down a very long aisle in a small Texas church giggling arm in arm with my Dad.

The man who is a wonderful father
The man who is the love of my life and my best friend
The man who goes on adventures with me

When I think of all that we have been through, a slideshow of images flickers through my mind.
A cold mist filled evening by a frosty river in San Marcos.
A lime green cast, an engagement ring and a failed Final the next day.
A wedding that was beautiful but, it was just a day. It’s really about the marriage.
I remember pregnancy tests and births, tears and laughter, love and loss.
I love you.
You hold my hand because you want to feel my touch.
You smile at me when I cry at TV shows, commercials and movies.
You believe that I am the most beautiful woman in the world and I see that in your eyes.
You believe I can do anything.
You believe in me.
I love you and I can’t believe it’s been a decade.. it’s been a blink and yet, it’s been forever.
Nathan, I am so blessed to spend my life with you.

I can’t believe it’s been ten years!!!!!!!!!! Princess and Monkey are what make me realize that it really has been that long. I’ve been thinking all day about what we were doing ten years ago at certain times. It was such a fun time – everything. Planning and shopping for the wedding, making selections, all the parties. The weekend of your wedding was so special. I loved every moment of it! You were such a beautiful bride and Nate was so handsome. I’m so proud of you and Nathan and happy that you have such a great relationship with each other. I love watching you interact with each other and with Princess and Monkey.
