Carnival's Melting Chocolate Cake Recipe

Delicious, rich, dark chocolate melting cake

  • 6 oz good quality dark baking chocolate chopped
  • 6 oz 3/4 Cup butter
  • 4 eggs room temperature
  • 1.5 oz white granulated sugar
  • 2 oz 4 Tablespoons flour


  • Preheat oven to 390°F
  • Spray 4 Ramekins with baking spray and set aside
  • In a microwaveable dish, melt the chopped dark chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth and set aside
  • In a medium bowl; whisk together the eggs and sugar.
  • Add the flour and stir until combined
  • Add the egg/sugar mix to the chocolate mix and stir until combined
  • Fill the greased ramekins 3/4 full with the cake mix
  • Bake for 13 minutes


This will yield 4 ramekins. Top with powdered sugar and/or pair with fruit, ice cream, fresh mint.
